Thelma Joyce Felton, 88, of Blanchard, died April 9, 2012 at her home. The daughter of Mary Elizabeth “Bessie” (Wendom) and Henry Clay Lell, she was born October 5, 1923 in Maud, Oklahoma.

She was a member of the Cole First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing slot machines and canning vegetables from her own garden.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Herman Felton in 1987; an infant daughter, Joycie Faye Felton; five sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include her sons, Paul Felton of Cole and Aubrey Felton and wife Vicki of Blanchard; daughter, Mary Jane Rayburn of Cole; four grandchildren, Kelly Sneed of Blanchard, Krista Brantley of Tuttle, Tammy Huddleston of Cole, and Jamie Huddleston of Cole; six great grandchildren; brother, H.C. Lell of Blanchard; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service for Thelma will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Blanchard Cemetery with Douglas Ray Felton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
