Debra Dawn “Debbie” Edgmon, 61, of Blanchard, died Friday, September 19, 2014 at her home. The daughter of Donald Eugene Cantrell and LaStella (Coffey) Cantrell, she was born September 29, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Debbie married Jesse Edgmon on March 11, 1977 in Oklahoma City. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church. Debbie enjoyed oil painting and loved to read.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Edgmon, of Blanchard; one daughter, Haley Smith and special son-in-law, Cylee, of Blanchard; two sons, Randy Edgmon and Roy Edgmon, both of Blanchard; four grandchildren, Warren Smith, Landen Smith, Emilee Edgmon, and Jesse Edgmon; a special friend and sister, Donna Edgmon of Bokchito; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 22, 2014 at New Beginnings Church. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.

Jesse L. Edgmon, 78, of Blanchard, died Monday, October 9, 2017 at his home. The son of Joe C. Edgmon and Evelyn (Gunkle) Edgmon, he was born June 1, 1939, in Minco, Oklahoma. 

Jesse worked as a farmer and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jesse married Debra Dawn “Debbie” Cantrell on March 11, 1977 in Oklahoma City. He was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Naples. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, gardening, and checking on his cattle. He also enjoyed watching western movies and spending time with his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Debbie Edgmon; one son, Robby Edgmon; three sisters, Ardeth Hensley, Terrie Voegeli, and Claire Jean Seier; two brothers, Joe C. Edgmon and Hulit Edgmon; two brothers-in-law, John Hensley and Eugene Seier. 

Jesse is survived by one daughter, Haley Smith and her husband, Cylee, of Blanchard; two sons, Randy Edgmon and Roy Edgmon, both of Blanchard; four grandchildren, Emilee Edgmon, Jesse Edgmon, Warren Smith, Landen Smith, and one on the way, Teagen Smith; one sister, Eileen McMullen and husband, Ernest, of Minco; one brother, W.C. “Dub” Edgmon and wife, Barbara, of Chickasha; sisters-in law, Donna Edgmon of Bokchito and Lou Edgmon of Minco; brother-in-law, David Voegeli of Chickasha; and many other loved ones and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at New Beginnings Church in Naples.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
