Doyle E. Burns, 65, of Blanchard, died April 29, 2012, in Norman. He was born December 21, 1946 in Golden, Oklahoma. He married Joyce Kay Mills on August 24, 1968 in Idabel, Oklahoma. Doyle worked as a principal for Idabel and Lawton Public Schools. He was Pentecostal in faith. Doyle was an antique collector and enjoyed gardening, yard work, and playing the piano. His greatest love was his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Emma Estell Milligan; and brother, Edward Burns.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Joyce Burns of Blanchard; daughters, Cyndie Penner of Blanchard and Cami Rodriguez and her husband Anthony of Frisco, Texas; son-in-law, Kevin Penner of Blanchard; two grandchildren, Austin Penner and Kaylei Penner; brothers, George Burns and his wife Margaret of Idabel and Jerry Milligan and his wife Glenda of Idabel; sisters, Yvonne Snow and her husband Harvey of Yukon and Barbara Bean of Muskogee; sister-in-law, Sue Burns of Idabel; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Reverend Robert Stuart will officiate with interment held in the Blanchard Cemetery.
