Jimmy Lee Bond, 66, of Blanchard, died Monday, June 9, 2014 in Norman. The son of Cledith William and Jolene Agnes (Guest) Bond, he was born November 7, 1947 in Oklahoma City.

Jimmy married Gloria Jean Brown on August 1, 1978 in Gainesville, Texas. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Jimmy retired from General Motors after 27 years of service. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and loved watching Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Candace Ward.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Bond, of Blanchard; one son, Kevin Ward and his wife, Janice, of Seattle, Washington; one granddaughter, Adrienne Ward of Moore; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Sara; one brother, Michael Bond and his wife, Carol, of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
