Barbara Belle Bird, 81, of Seminole, formerly of Blanchard, died, Monday, July 13, 2015 in Seminole. The daughter of Holman Beaty and Ruby Mae (Huffman) Beaty, she was born November 18, 1933 in Foster, Oklahoma.

Barbara loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, and working in her garden. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother and her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and made many afghans for her family and friends. Barbara attended Crossroads to Life Baptist Church and was a Christian woman who believed in and lived her life according to Proverbs 31. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Bird; and one sister, Juanita Kingan.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bird of Blanchard; two sons, Dewight Bird and his wife, Denise, of Seminole and Robert Bird and his wife, Rebecca, of Florida; seven grandchildren, Nicole Bird, Amber Bird, Russell Bryan, Shane Enochs, Melissa Funk, Raymond Bird, and Samuel Bird; eleven great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
