Willard Eason Beaty was born December 17, 1926 in Denison, Texas, to Robert and Malinda Beaty. At the age of 73, his life's journey ended as he passed through heaven's gates to be with our Lord on April 12, 2000.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, his mother, “Lindy”, his brother, Thaddus (Doc), and another brother who died shortly after birth.

Willard served his country with honor in the United States Navy at the end of WWII.

He was united in marriage to Dolores Faller on October 15, 1948. Together, they shared their life with their 7 children, 25 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 1/2 years, Dolores of the home; daughters: Carol and husband Ken Stier, Della and husband Wayne Bristol, Terri and husband Kerry Bates, Susan and husband David Myers; sons: Gary and wife Betty, Mark and wife Carrie, Jeff and wife Amy; granddaughters: Ericka Stier, Nicole and husband Zack Paniel, Tara and husband Josh Fox, Kristy Beaty, Shaylene Beaty, Katie Best, Kasey Best, Baylee Beaty, Diana and husband, Jason Woods, Leslie Finkel, Rebecca Kincaid, Keasha Myers, and Jenny Myers; grandsons: Ryan Beaty, David Bristol, Brent Bristol, Derek Finkel, Phillip Myers, Lance Strum, Mitchell Beaty, Christopher Beaty, Kenneth Beaty, Reiman Beaty, Daniel Beaty and Joseph Beaty; and great-grandchildren; MaKenna Paniel, Jacob Paniel, Tyler Fox, and Sierra Fox.

Willard enjoyed nature, bird-watching, gospel music, and telling his favorite jokes. His family was always his top priority and his strength was a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to receive it. His love for God and his family was shown in all that he did and he had a special place in his heart for his many friends, especially Jerry and JoAnn Malone, who introduced him to his beautiful bride.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to “Relay for Life in memory of Willard Eason Beaty” at Tri Star Nation Bank. In Newcastle, Tuttle and Blanchard, Oklahoma Relay for Life is a community event to raise funds for cancer research through the American Cancer Society.

Graveside services, officiated by Rev. Bill Gentry, will be held Monday, April 17, 2000, 2:00 p.m. at the Blanchard Cemetary.
