Jimmy Dale Qualls, 69, of Durant, Oklahoma passed away April 19, 2012 in Frisco, Texas. He was born on June 27, 1942 to the late Thurman Ruben Qualls and Jennie Bell Chaney Qualls in Madill, Oklahoma.

Jimmy was raised in Madill and in 1995 moved to Tishomingo, Oklahoma before moving to Durant where he lived the rest of his life. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ and he was a people person, enjoyed listening to the police scanner, watching Judge Judy, and he loved music and spending time on the radio.

He is survived by: Brother: Larry Qualls, Durant, Oklahoma. Sisters: Betty Williford, Madill, Oklahoma and Jerry Ann Maughan, Dallas, Texas. Several nieces and nephew.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Joe, Buck and Jerry Knight.


Visitation will be Monday, April 23 at the Watts Funeral Home , Madill, Oklahoma from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., April 24, 2012 at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Shoney Qualls will officiate the service.

Interment will be at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home , Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
