ENOS, Okla. - Wayne Orley Philley, 74, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Watts Funeral Home Memorial chapel in Madill with Kevin Everett and Bob Trammell officiating. Music will be arranged by Glen and Janice Reece. Burial will be in Woodberry-Forest Cemetery.

Mr. Philley was born July 2, 1928, in Childress, to the late Wallace Oren and Mattie Rosella Bishop Philley.
 

Wayne was reared in Hollis and Plainview, Texas. He served in the Navy between 1946 and 1947, during World War II.
 

Wayne married Corriene "Corky" Fly on May 9, 1977, in Clayton, N.M.

He later lived in Shamrock, Texas, working for Shamrock Oil Co. before moving to Enos in 1980 from Guymon.

Wayne owned and operated Lake Texhoma Trash Service.

He was a member of Texhoma Baptist Church, where he served as an usher and on the finance committee.

Wayne enjoyed golfing, working, playing cards and church activities.


Survivors include his wife; a son, John Tooley of Madill; five daughters, Sharon Martin of Lubbock, Texas, Debbie Skaggs of Bakersfield, Calif., Trish Bergstrom of Arlington, Texas, Rene Doran of Carrollton, Texas, and Shirley Nunley of Madill; a brother, W.H. Philley of Big Springs, Texas; two sisters, Cecil Philley of Lawton and Ethel Luker of Amarillo, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
 

Casket bearers include, Ray Armstrong, Daryl O'Neil, Bob Cox, Lawrence Wheeler, Gary Alsbrook and Max Clark. Honorary pallbearers include the Disciple Sunday School Class.
