Funeral Services Held for Parks.
Taken ill While Visiting Brother here.
King Cyrus William Parks 84 years old, died at the home of his brother, J. A. Parks, three miles south of Madill, about 1010 Sunday morning, following Illness of 10 days with paralysis. Mr. Parks' home was at Allen, Okla., with his son, Joe Parks, but he had only recently come to the home of his brother for a visit and become ill.
Funeral services were held at the Watts Chapel in charge of the Baptist pastor, Rev. George A. Dale at 2:30 Monday afternoon, followed by burial in the Woodbury Forrest cemetery, with Watts funeral home directing. Masons were also in charge of the services at the graveside. Special singing was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. John Landram, Mrs. E. E. Ayers and W. W. Fondren; Mrs. Burton Livengood was the pianist. Pallbearers wore members at the Masonic Lodge.
Immediate survivors are his wife, four sons, G. W. Parks, Jacksonville, Fla.; Perry Parks, Phoenix, Ariz.; K. R. Parks, Oklahoma City, and Joe Parks, Allen; one daughter, Mrs. Maggie Harper (Harbolt), Ada and two brothers, J. A. Parks, Madill, and Sam Parks, Taloga, Okla.
Mr. Parks was in real estate business for several years and up until about eight years ago. He has lived near Ada for 25 years and has made his home, with his son Joe, of Allen, for several years. He was a member of the Baptist church, and son of a Baptist preacher. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Byars, Okla. Joe Parks was the only child present for the funeral services.

Funeral services were held in Madill Monday afternoon at 2:30 with Masonic honors.
He is survived by his widow, a brother, J. A. Parks of Madill; a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Harbolt of Ada; and four sons, Joe of Ada: K. R. of Oklahoma City; G. W. of Jacksonville. Fla., and Perry of Phoenix. Ariz.
Mr. Parks was well known In Ada, having lived In this vicinity for about 20 years. At the time of his death he was visiting his brother.
