Guy Alan McClure III 60, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Alliance Hospital in Madill.

He was born on August 12, 1961, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Guy Allen McClure Jr. and LaVanda Marie Sudduth McClure. He was raised in Madill, graduating from Madill High School in 1979. Alan attended Murray State College in Tishomingo before graduating from Oklahoma University in 1984. He moved to Florida where he worked 8 years for an airport, flying cargo in and out. Moved back to the Madill and Kingston area working as a long-haul truck driver for several companies. Recently he was self-employed, owning a sawmill business. Alan was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ardmore, Oklahoma and he enjoyed watching movies, always looking for new adventures and loved traveling.  He loved his dog “Buddy”. 

He is survived by his sisters: Madelyn Jo Adams, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Millicent McClure Watson, Madill, Oklahoma. Niece: Mariah Coble and husband Cody, Marietta, Oklahoma. Great Nephews: Rhett and Weston Coble, Marietta, Oklahoma   

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother-in-law; Danny “Bodie” Watson.  

Visitation will be Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a family hour from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm October 25, 2021, at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma.  Alton Fannin will officiate the service.  Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
