Claudie Mae Maxwell 94, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman. She was born on May 29, 1927, in Fort Washita, 

Oklahoma to the late Claude Stallings and Kate Mae Dansby Stallings. Claudie was raised in the Nida, Brown and Cobb area, graduating from Nida High School in 1944.  She married C. B. Bell on February 13, 1946, in Grayson County, Texas and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1979. Claudie later married B. T. Maxwell on December 29, 1988, in Sherman, Texas and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2011.  She was affiliated with Little City Baptist Church, Madill First Baptist Church and Cowboy Church in Madill.  Claudie enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center playing dominos and rummy and making pecan pies.       

She is survived by her children: JoEllen Blissit and husband Ron, Norman, Oklahoma, Dana Haggard and husband, Bill Elliott, Durant, Oklahoma, Terrell Bell, Denison, Texas, Ray Bell, Norman, Oklahoma, Garry Bell and wife Aleah, Durant, Oklahoma. 5 Grandchildren: Jerri Davis, Jack Haggard, Leslye Shin, Jana Neu and Madison Bell. 7 Great Grandchildren: Trey Davis, Campbell Davis, Haley, Carson and Keller Neu, Annalye and Liam Shin.

Claudie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 1 son; Bruce Bell and 1 brother.     

Service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Kendall Whitehead will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Woodberry-Forest

Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers: Harvey Angle, Trey Davis, Marty Neu, Song Shin, Paul Davis and Jack Haggard.
