Guadalupe Medina Contreras, 70, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at her home in Madill. She was born on February 27, 1951, in Rio Verde, SanLuis Potosi, Mexico to late Bertoldino Medina and Idelfonsa Contreras Medina. 

She married Fidel Barbosa on November 20, 1971, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Guadalupe was raised in Mexico and moved to Madill in 1998 where she worked at the Madill Public School for several years. She was a member of the Iglesia Pentecostal Emmanuel Church in Madill and she enjoyed cooking, reading her bible, playing bingo and singing Christian songs. Her greatest love was her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by  Husband: Fidel Barbosa; Children: Jose Miguel Barbosa, Armandina Barbosa, Santa Monica Barbosa. Grandchildren: Yajahira Rosales, Jose G. Rosales, Jocelynn Lopez, Promise Lopez,Yadira Barbosa, Xiomara Munoz, Yailyn Barbosa, Jayden Barbosa, Sofia Granados.  Great Grandchildren: Camila Olvera, Cain Olvera, Caique Olvera, Caliana Olvera. Sisters: Irma Medina, Elvia Medina, Alicia Medina, Yolanda Medina, Lourdes Medina, Amelia Medina. Brothers: Alvaro Medina, Jesus Medina, Adrian Medina, and Raul Medina.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother Jaime Medina.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Juan Martinez will officiate the service.

Interment will be at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
