Steven Daniel Baker 73, of Buncombe, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at his home in Buncombe. 

He was born on June 4, 1948, in Lakeport, California, to the late Carl Daniel Baker and Goldie Lucille Bowling Baker.  Steve was raised in California and moved to North Carolina where he worked in construction and later lived in Colorado working in the mining industry before moving to Oklahoma in 1971. Steve married June Redale Arterberry on October 19, 1979, in Whitesboro, Texas and she preceded him in death on February 15, 2022.  He was a member of the Texoma Southern Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting and woodworking. 
 

He is survived by children: Gary Baker, Kingston, Oklahoma, Brent Baker and wife Tylar, Kingston, Oklahoma, Steven Baker, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Brenda Proctor and husband Chase, Kingston, Oklahoma. Grandchildren:          Branson, Cashtyn, Olivia and Jaycee Proctor, Austyn Baker. Brothers: George Baker, Sanford, North Carolina, Darrel Baker, Grand Junction, Colorado.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, granddaughters, Kelli & Kari Baker, brother; Carl David Baker.
 
Casket Bearers: Gary Baker, Brent Baker, Chase Proctor, Branson Proctor, Cashtyn Proctor, Kenny Barnes
