Cody Lee Wheeler, 51, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at his home in Madill. 

He was born on April 22, 1971, in Madill to the late Billy Wayne Wheeler and Nancy Marie Goodwin Wheeler.  Cody was raised and lived his entire life in Madill and graduated from Madill High School in 1989.  Cody worked for Jett Tree Service and later for Oklahoma Steel and Wire where he worked for over 19 years.  He worked the past several years at Michelin in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Cody married Michelle Marie Hunt on June 5, 2012, in Butcher Pen, Oklahoma.  He loved his granddaughter and riding 4-wheelers and his motorcycle.         
 
Cody is survived by Wife: Michelle Wheeler, Madill, Oklahoma. Daughter: Christina Smith and husband Zachary, Moore, Oklahoma. Granddaughter (Papa’s Baby): Ava Smith. 
Brothers: Wayne Wheeler, Madill, Oklahoma, Darrel Wheeler and wife Sherry, Madill, Oklahoma. Sisters: Ashley Rivon, Haslet, Texas, Kimberly Stoll and husband Nathan, Visalia, California.
 
Cody was preceded in death by his parents Billy Wayne and Nancy Marie Goodwin Wheeler and grandparents Melvin and Tennie Goodwin.
