Truett Don Lightfoot, born 10/15/1940 in Bokchito, OK to John Alexander Lightfoot and Emma Mae Lightfoot.
 

Truett served his country in the US Army. He loved to fish and hunt until his health would not allow it. Truett was a route salesman for many years.


Mr. Lightfoot is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Austin and Raymond; and sister, Dorothy Mae. He is survived by two daughters, Donna Gibson and husband Rodney of Wichita, KS and Carrie Duncan and husband Geoff of Grand Prairie, TX; three grandchildren, Clayton Lauer and wife Cheyenne of Clearwater, KS, Dalton Gibson of Oklahoma City, OK, Ashley Lauer of Arlington, TX; great-granddaughter, Harper Lauer; brother, John Lightfoot of Durant, Oklahoma; and longtime companion Sharon Vasquez of Wilburton, OK, along with many nieces and nephews.
 

Truett passed from this life on April 26, 2017 in Durant, OK.
 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday April 29th at the Cumberland First Baptist Church with Preacher Lyndol Adams officiating. Family Hour will be from 1-2:00 PM before the service.

Burial will be at the Cumberland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clayton Lauer, Dalton Gibson, Ronald Dean Lightfoot, Kenneth Mann, Dustin Barker and Tony Stockard.
