Oakdale Cemetery



Funeral service for Cynthia “Cyndi” Wedel, 39, of Lahoma, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Lahoma, with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, southwest of Ringwood. Arrangements are entrusted with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Cynthia was born Oct. 3, 1970, in Enid to Lawrence and JaNet Allen Rowe and she passed away at her home in Lahoma Friday, Jan. 8, 2010. She attended and graduated from Lahoma High School in 1988.

She married David Wedel Sept. 1, 2005, in Lahoma.

She worked as a firefighter for Vance Air Force Base until ill health required her to stop working.

She attended First Baptist Church in Lahoma.

Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; a daughter, Jessica Mitts of Muskogee; a son, Deverin Mitts of the home; stepsons, Tyler and Matthew Wedel of the home; mother, JaNet Rowe of Lahoma; two sisters, Earlene Rowe-Gardner of Oklahoma City and Yolanda Rowe of Enid; one brother, Dean Rowe and his wife Linda of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Rowe.

Memorials may be made in Cynthia’s name to Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
