Square Cedar Cemetery



The graveside service for Emil Zimbelman, 72, will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010, in Square Cedars Cemetery. The Rev. Shorty Unruh will officiate. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

He was born July 24, 1937, in Mott, N.D., to Reinhold and Anna Bierwagon Zimbelman and died Friday, April 30, 2010, in Wichita, Kan.

He attended New Leipzig High School and diesel mechanic school in Chicago. He served in the Air Force. He was certified road builder through Burlington Northern Railroad. He also helped with the family farm.

Surviving are his children, Ivan Zimbelman of Cleo Springs, Sherlem Zimbelman of Aline, Shari Woods and Shelley Rauh, both of Enid, and Allen Zimbelman of Nash; three brothers; two sisters; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, diabetes division.
