December 17, 1946 - June 30, 2018

Funeral service for William "Bill" Melvin, 71, Sparks, Nevada, formerly of Enid, is 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Frank Bushey officiating.

Burial follows in Square Cedar Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Visitation with the family is 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the funeral home.

Bill was born December 17, 1946, in Enid to William and Lois (Beckner) Melvin, and passed away to be with the Lord on June 30, 2018, in Nevada.

Bill graduated from Enid High School and served in the United States Army in Vietnam.

Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years, Myra Melvin; his daughters Angie Melvin, and Amy (Kevin) Nichols: son Ken Plemmons; grandsons Myka Melvin and Jake Melvin; brothers Larry (Janice) Melvin, Ronnie (Freddie) Melvin; sister Anita (Wade) Readnour; former wife Sally Melvin; and many nephews and extended family.
