FAIRVIEW — Celebration of life service for Matthew Leroy Meister, 25, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at Faith Center Fellowship, Meno, with Pastor Cody Anderson, Pastor Brian Frable and Pastor David Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Square Cedar Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today with the family present from 6-8 at the funeral home. The casket will be open at the church before the service. Memories or condolences may be shared with the family at www.lanman memorials.com.

Matthew was born Dec. 1, 1984, in Enid to Douglas Meister and Linda Koehn Meister and passed from this life Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, in Fairview.

He graduated from Ringwood High School in 2004 and OSU Okmulgee in 2006.

He was a lineman for the city of Ponca City for two years and currently was a lineman for the city of Fairview. He took great pride in his job.

Matthew married Kristie Warden Nov. 13, 2009, in Stillwater. He lived in Fairview, moving from Ringwood nine months ago.

Matthew was an avid outdoorsman, which included activities such as hunting, fishing, camping and riding his 4-wheeler.

He attended Faith Center Church in Meno. He was a member of the NRA and North American Hunting Club.

Matthew loved his family and family gatherings.

Survivors include his wife, Kristie, of Fairview; his unborn baby, expected in March; parents, Doug and Linda Meister of Ringwood; brother, Jarred Meister of Norman; grandparents, Bois and Clara Farrington of Ringwood and Martha Koehn of Ringwood; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Those who preceded Matthew in death include his maternal grandfather, John Koehn, and his paternal grandfather, Harry Meister.

Memorials may be given to the Matthew Meister Memorial Fund, which will be established at Farmer's and Merchant's Bank.
