January 13, 1940 - December 4, 2018

Funeral service for Curtis Bowman, 78, of Collinsville, will be 1:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018, at Evangel Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Lester Lowry officiating. Burial will be in Square Cedar Cemetery, Cleo Springs under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Curtis was born January 13, 1940, in Cleo Springs, to Lester F. and Ardeen (Nickel) Bowman, and passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in Collinsville.

Curtis grew up in Cleo Springs and graduated from Cleo Springs High School. On December 24, 1960 he married Betty Joan Rose in Alva. They lived in Kansas, Minnesota, Cleo Springs, and the last 3 years in Collinsville. Curtis was a home builder. He attended Evangel Assembly of God Church, loved gardening, and making jewelry from rocks.

Curtis is survived by his wife Betty; children Trent Bowman (Karen) of Collinsville, and Troy Bowman (Chris) of Fairview; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Delmar and an infant granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Square Cedar Cemetery.
