A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Mark G. Beckham, age 59 years, of Lahoma, is 2:00 pm, Monday, November 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Lahoma. Pastor Steve Campbell of the First Baptist Church of Lahoma and Pastor Terry O’Toole of the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Square Cedar Cemetery, Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Mark passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

Mark was born June 13, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana to Ben F. Beckham and Doris (Chadwick) Beckham. Mark ventured out on his own at a very young age, traveling and working various jobs before coming to Fairview, Oklahoma where he met Vanessa Stephens on July 2, 1976. They were married September 29, 1979 in Fairview. Their son Chad was born March 5, 1981 and made their family complete. Mark often said that Chad was his greatest accomplishment.

Mark is preceded in death by his son Chad Beckham, parents, Ben and Doris Beckham, great-niece Abigail Johnston, and father-in-law Roger Stephens.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Vanessa Beckham, of the home in Lahoma, god-son Casey Wisel, of Lahoma; two brothers, Ben Beckham of Kentucky, Chad Beckham and wife Linda, of Indiana; sister Sidney “Cindy” Shepp and husband Ed, of Indiana; mother-in-law Claretta Stephens, of Lahoma; sister-in-laws, Denise Ross of Lahoma; Stephanie Stephens of Joplin, Missouri; Tommie Daugherty and husband Derek, of Watonga, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Duce Stephens, of Lahoma, as well as many beloved nephews and nieces.

Memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds
