Paul David Lobb was born in Dallas Texas on December 4, 1955 to Plazie Elisha and Ruby Patricia (Conway) Lobb and died December 13, 2008 four miles west of Cresent, Oklahoma while on the job.

David was raised and attended school in many different locations as his family moved around. He attended school in Dallas Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and finally in Wichita, Kansas. While in high school, he went to work at a restaurant in Wichita and continued to work there even after high school. He joined the United States Army and served from 1974 to 1980. After his honorable discharge he moved to Oklahoma, starting his almost 20 year career in the oilfield. As the oil industry slowed down, he became very active in home construction and remodeling as a carpenter and painter. He started moving around the country building homes in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Tampa and Miami Beach Florida. He also owned and operated a house painting company in Wichita, Kansas for a few years. David worked for Northstar Home Insulation Company and did cabinet work in Maryland. David loved to travel and did so as his jobs took him all over the country. However, he would from time to time return to Oklahoma and go back to work in the oil industry. He worked for Power Tongs in Fairview, Oklahoma on and off for almost 20 years. David was very devoted to his daughter Nattillee and his granddaughter Amber was the sunshine of his life.

He is survived by his step mother Opal Lobb of New Mexico; one daughter Nattillee Nycole Maxson and husband Barry of Fairview; four brothers, Jim, Kelly of Wichita, Ronnie, and Gary Lobb of New Mexico; one brother-in-law John Williams of Fairview; two sisters, Ellie Wolthausen and Plazie Williams and husband Norman of Wichita and one granddaughter Amber Nycole Lobb of Fairview.

His parents, two brothers, one sister, one brother-in-law and one nephew preceded him in death.
