Saron Cemetery


The funeral for Jessie Mae Bush, 71, will be 2 PM Saturday at Central Christian church, Fairview. The Rev. Dr. Thomas D. Schwartz will officiate. Burial will follow in Saron Mennonite Cemetery. The casket will be open at the funeral home and at the church from 11:30 AM Saturday until service time. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born December 15, 1929, on the family farm near Fairview to Jesse O. And Gertrude Wymer Jinkins and died Wednesday, December 5, 2001, at her home.

She was raised by her grandparents, Edward and Sadie Wymer, north of Longdale. When she was nine years old, her mother died. She lived in Fairview and Enid working for various places, including the Magic Mirror Figure Salon, the Fitness Factory in Fairview, Lamberts and the Sage Room. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Fairview, Moose Lodge of Enid and was past President of the N. W. Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Payton Ratzlaff of Fairview and Robin Bush of Enid; a son, Gary Bush III of Enid; a sister, LaVerda Schaffer of Syracuse, Kansas; a brother, Dick Jinkins of Longdale; three grandchildren; and five great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Memorial Bible Fund.
