Saron Cemetery


Funeral services for Dr. Ralph Leland Buller, 77 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008, 3:00 P.M. in Bethel Mennonite Church in Hydro, Oklahoma, with Pastor Raymond Unruh officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. in the Saron Mennonite Cemetery in Orienta, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Ralph was born on June 30, 1930 in Waka, Texas to David Edward and Sarah (Kroeker) Buller and passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Ralph was raised and attended school in Cleo Springs and graduated from high school in Oklahoma Bible Academy in 1947. He attended Grace Bible Institute, Phillips University in Enid, and the University of Oklahoma Medical School, graduating in 1956. On May 29, 1952,

Ralph married Lorraine Lohrenz in Orienta, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the Air Force as a Medical Officer from 1957 to 1959. Ralph did his internship in Tulsa at the Hillcrest Hospital and did his residency in LaFayette, Louisianna. He opened his medical practice in Hydro in 1960 and retired in 1996.

Ralph enjoyed his grandchildren, woodworking, playing golf, fishing, playing dominoes, and prison ministry. It was the wish of Dr. Buller that everyone would come to know the Lord. In lieu of flowers,

Dr. Buller asks that each person attend church on Sunday and donate memorial to the Lord's work at that church.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Lorraine of their home in Hydro, Oklahoma; two sons, Nathan Scott Buller and wife Sherri of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Kevin Buller and wife Ginni of Rural Retreat, Virginia; two daughters, Brenda Doane and husband Mica of Meno, Oklahoma and Stephanie Buller of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and nine grandchildren.
