Graveside Services for Onia Oleta Ackley, 96, of Fairview will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the Rusk Cemetery, Fairview, Oklahoma. The Reverend Ronnie Hopkins will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Viewing will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Onia Oleta Ackley was born December 12, 1912 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to James David Cole and Agnes (Bloomer) Cole and passed away Sunday August 23, 2009 at the Fairview Regional Medical Center in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Oleta grew up in Blanchard as a member of a large family and attended school in Blanchard. She was a homemaker and loving mother of ten children. Oleta moved to Fairview in 1981. She has resided at the Fairview Fellowship home for the last six and a half years where she had numerous friends and many caring nurses and staff. Oleta was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Oleta is survived by two sons, Earl Wright and wife Jacque, David Wright and wife Ann, all of Lexington, Oklahoma; five daughters, Nellie Ake of Fairview, Nettie Clouse and husband Gary of Norman, Oklahoma, Donna Walton and husband John of Round Rock, Texas, Sharen Rotenberry and husband Cliff of Cleburne, Texas and Margaret Lee and husband Vernon of Enid, Oklahoma; one sister Lila Sims of Blanchard, Oklahoma; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Oleta was preceded in death by three children, Clyde, Frank and Leonard Wright; eight brothers and sisters; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairview Fellowship Home “General Store” with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. acting as custodian.
