A graveside service for Paul Dean Rich, 57, of Fairview, will be 5 p.m. today in Roscoe Cemetery, northwest of Fairview. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

He was born March 16, 1949, in Gothenberg, Neb., to Phillip W. and Doretha Peters Rich and died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at his home.

He joined the Army in 1967 and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1970. He married Joanne Prinjinski in 1970 and they moved to New Jersey. He worked as a cook in a relief center. He moved to Oklahoma in 1982. He married Linda Burrell Judd July 1, 1983, in Las Vegas. He was a construction worker. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

Surviving are two sons, Patrick Rich of Fairview and Paul Dean Rich Jr. of New Jersey; one daughter, Malissa Dawn Rich of New Jersey; three brothers, Jerry Rich of Lexington, Neb., Don Rich of Lawrence, Kan., and Dick Rich of Kearney, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Paul D. Rich Memorial Fund.
