Randy L. Simons, 18, of Rural Route 1, Ringwood, died late Thursday evening April 26, 1979, as a result of an automobile accident near Lahoma.

He was born Dec. 3, 1960, at Enid; reared in the Ringwood area and attended Ringwood High School. He was a member of the Ringwood First Baptist Church.

Simons was employed by the Fenton Construction Co.at Ringwood .

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, in the Ringwood First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack L. Spurgeon Sr., minister of the church, officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Meno.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley A. Simons of Enid; stepfather, Floyd Simons Jr., of Bixby; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Campbell of Ringwood; step grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Simons, Sr., of Bixby, and an uncle Virgil Campbell of Ringwood.
