Pleasant Hill Cemetery


Graveside service for Harley W. Maddox, 84, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Meno, Okla., with the Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Harley was born Jan. 4, 1931, in Meno, Okla., to Archie and Glyn Pervine Maddox and passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He grew up in the Meno/Ringwood community and graduated from Ringwood High School.

Harley enlisted into the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He married Lillian Wagner in 1962. She passed away Aug. 25, 1999.

He worked as an aircraft mechanic in California before moving back to Enid in 1977.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews and close friends, Bruce and Alison Fischer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sisters.
