Funeral service for Lucille Campbell, 88, was Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Ringwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Terrill Parvin officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Meno with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.

Lucille Jantzen Campbell was born to Fred and Martha Hintergardt Jantzen and passed from this life at her home near Ringwood, Oklahoma. She married Jessie L. Campbell on September 14th, 1936. Two children were born to this union: Virgil and Shirley, who loved and cared for their mother.

Lucille worked at the Enid State School, Villa Madonna and St. Mary's Hospital in Enid. She was a respiratory therapist who loved her work. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital. Lucille and Jess traveled to Padre Island in South Texas for several years, where they spent the fall and winter months. She enjoyed and loved the beach and fishing with her husband. Lucille was known as a beautiful lady with a gorgeous smile.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Shirley Simons; grandson, Gary Campbell and wife, Kim; granddaughter, Annette Pfeiffer and husband, Jim; grandson, Eric Thomas and wife, Kim; nine great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Pfeiffer, Justin Pfeiffer, Eric Gonzales, Jessica Campbell Wilder, Jared Campbell, Lindsay Thomas, Erin Thomas, Michelle Thomas, Matthew Thomas; one great- great grandchild, Brooklyn Wilder; three sisters, Tillie Cayot, Lavera Eck and Evelyn Koehn and husband, Clayton; brother-in-law, Noah Schmidt; daughter-in-law, Karen Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. Campbell; son, Virgil Campbell; one grandson, Randy L. Simon; one sister, Lillian Schmidt; two brothers, Johnny and Benhard Jantzen
