Darlene Campbell

Funeral services for Darlene Campbell, 18, were held at 2 p.m. December 3,1969 in the New Hope Weslyan Church at Ringwood Oklahoma. The Rev Louis Pattison officiated. Burial was held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Meno Oklahoma under the direction of Henninger Allen of Enid. She died December 1, 1969 in an Enid hospital following a sudden illness.

Darlene was born on April 28, 1951 in Ringwood Oklahoma to Waldo and Mary Stricker Campbell in Ringwood Oklahoma. She attended Cimarron Valley Elementary School. She graduated from Ringwood High School in 1969 where she was a member of the girls basketball team. She was attending Denver Women's College and was home on Thanksgiving vacation when she became ill. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and attended Sunday School regularly.

She is survived by her parents Waldo and Mary Campbell, Ringwood; one brother Steve Campbell of the home; her maternal grandfather Lester Stricker, Ringwood and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Campbell also of Ringwood.
