Orion Cemetery


BILLINGS — Funeral service for Danny Lee Holt, 66, of Billings, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Liberty Southern Baptist Church, with Dr. Don Rogers officiating. Committal prayers and interment will be at 2 p.m. in Orion Cemetery , with Pastor Jerry Holt officiating. Service is under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service. Visitation with the family present will be from 6-7 p.m. this evening at Stittsworth's.

Danny was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Rolla, Kan., the son of Jerald and Opal Ake Holt and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, in Enid. He moved with his family to a farming community near Orion in Major County at an early age, moving to Enid in 1952. Danny attended the Enid School System, attending Emerson Junior High School. He was a member of Washington Avenue Church, now West Willow Community Church.

Survivors include his mother, Opal of Enid; sister, Karen Carris and husband Jim of Enid; brothers, Jerry Holt and wife Shirley of Enid, Lonnie Mack and wife Jannett Holt of Kremlin, Roger Holt of Enid, and Alan Holt and wife Angie of Oklahoma City.

Danny was preceded in passing by his father.

The family has selected Liberty Southern Baptist Church or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cerebal Palsy, as appropriate for memorial donations.
