ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Larry Don Fortune, 66, of Lahoma, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jim Edmison will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Orion Cemetery , Fairview, Okla. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Larry was born Dec. 14, 1946, in Fairview, Okla., the son of Harry and Mable Marie (Warner) Fortune and died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at his home. He lived in Fairview most of his life. Larry ran Fortune Floor Covering in Muskogee for many years before retiring to Lahoma, Okla., to be near his sister.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lorrine Pembrook; and one brother, Emil Fortune.

Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict from 1966 to 1968.

Larry is survived by one sister, Claretta Stephens of Lahoma; three brothers, Alvin Fortune of Jet, Okla., Jessie Fortune of Wichita, Kan., and Lutreal Fortune of Derby, Kan. Larry also has a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
