Billy Gene Turk Enid, OK — A graveside service for Billy Gene Turk, 78, of Bay City, Mich., will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2008, in Ames Cemetery. The Rev. Jake Snodgrass will officiate. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, Enid. Visitation with the family will be at Ames First Baptist Church after the service.

He was born April 10, 1929, in Hennessey to Archie and Maye Bryant Turk and died Monday, April 7, 2008, at Brian's Hospice House, Bay City.

He graduated from Loyal High School in 1947. He had various jobs until he joined the Air Force in 1950. He served in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1954. He settled in Bay City and opened Arrow TV Shop with his brother. He moved back to Kingfisher and operated a TV repair shop for 15 years before returning to Michigan.

Surviving are his brother, Robert of Bay City, and one sister, Bettye Hiebert of Halstead, Kan.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Brian's Hospice, Bay City, or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, cancer division.
