Florence Deloris Francis

Funeral services for Florence (Deloris) Francis, 74, of Enid, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Aug. 8, 2007, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Grady Bohannan will officiate. Burial will be in the Ames Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Deloris was born in Weir, KS, on July 12, 1933, to Orville and Edith (Bennett) Stiles and died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, in an Edmond hospital.

She attended Cimarron Valley and Cleo Springs schools and graduated from Ringwood High School in 1951. Deloris married Joseph (Joe) Francis Oct. 12, 1952, and he preceded her in death in 1984. Deloris sold Stanley Home Products for many years. She was also a beautician and a cook for nursing homes.

Surviving are her sons, Carl Wayne Francis and his wife Roberta of Enid and John Ray Francis of Enid; daughter, Jo Dean Aguirre of San Antonio TX; one brother, Jim Stiles; two sisters, Mrs. Julian (Janie) Nightengale of Cleo Springs, OK, and Charlotte Anson of Canton, OK; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Robert Elle, one brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter and a great-grandson and great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family at ladusauevans @suddenlinkmail.com. (
