The funeral for Clarence William "Bill" Stewart, 78, of Aline, was Wed., July 6, 2005, at Dacoma United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Cydni Tillery officiated. Burial followed in Eagle Chief Cemetery northwest of Aline. Arrangements were by Lanman Funeral Home of Helena.
He was born Aug. 9 ,1926, in rural Carmen to Charles W. & Katie Jo Faulkenburg Stewart & died Sun., July 3, 2005, at Fairview Hospital.
He was born, raised and worked in the Carmen-Aline area most of his life, graduating from Carmen High School in 1945. He married Marjorie Inman on April 20, 1946, at Medicine Lodge, Kan. He was a farmer, rancher and custom cutter and had served on the Aline School Board. He as baptized into the Carment Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Stewart of Aline; one son, Cahrles W. Stewart of Aline; one Daughter, Patty Shoulders of Dacoma; one brother, Jerry Stewart of Carmen; 2 sisters, Betty Jo Weber of Carmen & Barbara Moore of Oakley, Kan.; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers & 2 sisters.
