The funeral for Ruth Irene Rauh, 80, of Canton was Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Canton Christian Church. Steve Driskill officiated. Burial was followed in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements were by Haigler Funeral Home Inc.
She was born Oct. 11, 1925, at Dill City, to Henry and Dora Karp Kephart and died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at Okeene Hospital.
She graduated with honors from Southard High School. She worked at Southard Mercantile Store evenings after school.
She married Edward Leroy Rauh in 1946 at Fairview. They lived in Arizona where he was stationed in the service. They moved back to Oklahoma in 1947, where they farmed and did custom harvesting.
She also worked in the oil field industry and retired as Canto city clerk after 20 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Ring, and Pamela Sander, both of Canton,; one brother, Lonnie Kephart of Canton; give grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters and one great granddaughter.
