Graveside services for Audra Willa Nelson were held November 27, 2001 in Ames Cemetery at 2 p.m. Johnnie Randolph officiated. Brown Funeral Home of Enid was in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Ames on April 20, 1912 to David and Sally Randolph and died Saturday November 24, 2001 at Enid Senior Center Inc.
She attended Barr School, southeast of Ames and later attended Enid Beauty College in Enid. She worked in Enid until her marriage to Edwin Nelson on August 4, 1932. She later worked in the Lacy School lunchroom. They lived in the Ames- Lacy area until retiring from farming in 1968 when they moved to Hennessey. Edwin died in 1986 and she moved to Enid. She was a member of the Followers of Christ Church.
