Viola D. Campbell

Mrs. Viola D. Campbell, 87, Hayesville, Kan., died Thursday afternoon at her home following a short illness.

Mrs. Campbell was born September 19,1886 in Alta Vista, Mo., where she was raised and attended schools. She came to Oklahoma with her parents at the age of 19 settling in Cache. She married William A Campbell on Feb. 13, 1910 near Lawton.

They moved to Ames in 1929 where they farmed until 1969 when they moved to Stillwater. They moved to Hayesville in 1971. She was a member of the Hayesville First Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, two sons, two grandchildren, three brothers and a sister. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Eugene (Viola) Mack, Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. W.D. (Opal) Irvin, Wichita, Kansas, and Mrs. Ray (Beulah) Sharp of Hayesville, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church at Ames with Rev. H.E. Alsup and Rev. John Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Cemetery under the direction of Henninger Allen Funeral Home.
