Liberty Cemetery


ENID — Funeral service for Gladys Riley will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Northside Church of Christ, Waynoka, with Gene Goben officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka, LLC.

Gladys Riley, daughter of the late William and Molly (Linder) Harmon, was born Dec. 2, 1908, in Sherman, Okla., and passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in Woodward, Okla., at the age of 102 years, 4 months and 17 days.

On Dec. 6, 1927, Gladys was united in marriage to James Walker, who passed away May 16, 1951. To this union five children were born.

On June 14, 1954, she was united in marriage to Arthur Leland Riley, who passed away March 9, 1975.

She was a member of Northside Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and word search puzzles.

She was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

Gladys is survived by her children, Wilma Hutchison of Waynoka, Donald Walker and wife Patricia of Chester, Orville Walker and wife Barbara of Enid, Imojean Keller and husband Gary of Woodward, and Patricia Jamison and husband Dave of Woodward; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Diabetes Research or Gideons.
