Funeral services for Shirley Jean King, 82, of Fairview, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Church of the Nazarene in Fairview, Oklahoma. Pastors Dennis King and Ricky Chance will officiate. Burial will follow in Isabella Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Shirley Jean King was born June 13, 1936 in Fairview, Oklahoma to J.W. and Eula (Ethridge) King and passed to her Heavenly home October 2, 2018 at the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Her father worked doing road construction and the family lived all over Oklahoma. Shirley loved moving, living in different places and meeting new people. She was definitely a “people person”! Always a smile on her face, and a hug and a kiss to greet you, she never met a stranger. Shirley loved her Lord and enjoyed going to Fairview Church of the Nazarene and all the activities there. When her health began to decline, Shirley moved to the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Shirley is survived by one sister, Sue Wade and husband Mike of Kingsburg, California, brother in law Russell Otwell of Fairview, numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and many friends. She will be missed.

Preceding her were her parents, one sister, JoAnn Ottwell, one brother, J. W. King Jr., nephews Billy Otwell and Ricky King.

Memorials can be made to OMRF-Alzheimer Division
