Funeral services for Harrison Ray Becker, 84, of Fairview, will be 1:30 p.m., November 18, 2010, at the Mennonite Brethren Church with the Reverends James Suderman and Brad Penner officiating. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Harrison Ray Becker was born October 26, 1926 in Isabella, Oklahoma to Edward Jacob and Anna (Fast) Becker and died November 15, 2010 at his home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Harrison was raised in Fairview and graduated from Fairview High School in 1945. Shortly after graduation Harrison entered into the United States Army and served in Germany until his discharge in December 1946. Harrison married the love of his life, Wanda Jewell Bierig, on April 20, 1947 at the Fairview Methodist Church. They were blessed with three children, Lyle, Lyndon and Lana. Harrison was employed by Superior Oil Co. and Warren Petroleum, before becoming a self employed businessman. He owned and operated the Hi-Way Café, Becker-Bierig Ford of Okeene and West Acres Grocery. Harrison then returned to farming on the Bierig Farms. He was members of the Mennonite Brethren Church in Fairview, American Legion and the VFW.

He is survived by his wife Jewell of the home; two sons, Harrison Lyle Becker of Fairview and Lyndon Lee Becker and wife Connie of Owasso, Okla.; one daughter Lana Sue and husband Randy Miles of Conroe, Texas; one brother, Lynford and wife Ruby Becker of Enid; one sister, Betty and husband Clayton Hamm of Enid; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Victor Becker and one sister, Wilma Becker.
