Oscar James Woolley, 82 year old resident of Fairview, Oklahoma, passed from this life on August 1, 2018. Oscar was born to Joseph Henry and Frances Eva (Sontag) Woolley on February 1, 1936 in the town of Chester, Oklahoma. He attended school in the area until he reached the 8th grade. Oscar lived on a farm all his life, always helping with the farm work.

Oscar enjoyed going for joy rides and cruising down the road. He also took pleasure in going on long walks and grabbing a bite to eat from the local restaurants. Oscar also took a special interest in other people, and would love to have conversations with everyone.

Oscar is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Frances Woolley; brother Arby Woolley; and two brothers-in-law Marvin Seabourn and Norton Bouse.

Surviving Oscar are his sisters Betty Seabourn and Norma Bouse; uncle Leonard Sontag; aunt Julia Hobbs; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Oscar will be held at 10 AM on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.

Donations in Oscar’s honor may be made to the Hope Cemetery in c/o Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663).
