Hope Cemetery


The funeral for Billy Clark Stewart, 80, will be 1:30 p.m. today, Dec. 4, 2009, at Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling. Pastor Orville White will officiate. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery , southeast of Chester .

He was born June 11, 1929, in Oklahoma City to Elmer Newton and Vera Amanda Brewer Stewart and died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Veteran's Center, Norman.

He grew up and attended school in Fairview, graduating from Fairview High School in 1948. He attended the University of Oklahoma for two years. He entered the Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1952.

He worked for John A. Brown Co., Oklahoma City, where he worked as an interior decorator.

Surviving are one brother, Andy Stewart of Chester .
