Hope Cemetery


The funeral service for James William “Bill” Baldwin will be 1 p.m. today, Oct. 3, 2015, at Victory Bible Church, with Pastor Dennis Elder officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery near Seiling, Okla. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson F.H.

Bill was born Sept. 15, 1947, in Hunter, Okla., to Glen and Mary (Odom) Baldwin, and passed away Sept. 30, 2015, at his home in Enid. Bill was raised in Enid from the age of 2 and attended local area schools. He married his childhood sweetheart, JoAnn Rhodes, on Sept. 24, 1966. He worked at various jobs throughout his life, starting as a teen at Teeter’s neighborhood grocery store then later city of Enid, Central Machine and Tool, Advance Meat Co., and later in life as a roofer.

Bill is survived by his wife, JoAnn Baldwin; son, Bryan and wife, Michelle Baldwin; daughter, Bridget Baldwin; two sisters, Glenda Elliott and Wilma Pate; grandchildren, Cheyenne Griffin, Autumn Beebe, Vince Hopkins and Jay Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Baldwin and Aubrey Beebe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to the Central Oklahoma Association for Deaf and Hearing Impaired with Henninger-Hinson acting as custodian of the fund.
