RINGWOOD -- Funeral services for James Gerald Smith, 70, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 13, 2003 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma with Rev. Velmer Goebel officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery south of Ringwood. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena.

James (Jim) was born Aug. 13, 1933 in Ringwood to Warren I. Smith and Mary Leath Chaney, and entered the Lord's kingdom on Monday, November 11, 2003 after a brief cancer illness. He married Patsy A. King on Sept. 3, 1953 in Juarez, Mexico and they celebrated their 50th anniversary this year.

Surviving are, one sister, Jerry La Plant of Ephrata, Washington; one brother, Tom Smith of Ringwood; one daughter, Tina Helms of Enid; two grandchildren, Jeremy Green and Christina Heavner and two great-granddaughters Kyra and Aria Heavner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy in October of this year.

Ringwood -- Funeral services for Patsy Ann Smith will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2.30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma with Rev. Velmer Goebel officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery south of Ringwood. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Preschool in Lahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo A. King and Matilda Wojahn; a brother, Sonny King; and her sister, Georgia Lee Ellingson.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; a daughter, Tina Helms; two grandchildren, Jeremy Green and Christina Heavner; and two great granddaughters, Kyra and Aria Heavner; as well as a sister, Letha Mae Long.
