Glenwood Cemetery


The graveside service for Patsy Ellen Marlatt, 80 year-old Ringwood resident will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00AM in Glenwood Cemetery near Ringwood. Pastor Jody Schmidt will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Patsy was born December 8, 1933 in Harper County Oklahoma to Algy Ray Palmer and Alta Ada (Baird) Palmer and died Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

She attended Cimmaron Valley School and graduated from Ringwood High School with the class of 1952. On June 15, 1952 she married Charles Marlatt in the Christian Church in Fairview. The couple made their home in Enid where Patsy worked at Coldiron's for several years. She then focused on raising a family.

She was a long-time member of the Ringwood Presbyterian Church and the Ringwood Garden Club. She enjoyed playing canasta, pitch, dominoes, hand-in-foot, and Bingo. She loved all arts and crafts and was very talented at quilting and crochet. She was also an excellent cook and loved trying new recipes.

She is survived by her son Stanley Wayne Marlatt, Robin Rowena (Marlatt) Webber and husband Harold, and Renea (Marlatt) McCray, all of Ringwood. Two Grandchildren, BobbiDanae (McCray) Benson and husband Brent of Hartville, MO. and Bo Jeffery and wife Jami Lynn McCray of Ames. Four great-grandchildren, Jaycee, Baylee, Sophee, and Codee McCray. Two sister-in-laws, Edna Mae Marlatt of Yukon, Ok. and Betty Marlatt and husband Leslie, of Woodwoard, and brother in law Devert Marlatt of Enid, as well as numerous nices, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, one brother, William Stillwell Palmer and wife Lenora, a brother-in-law, Orville Eugene Marlatt and a sister-in-law Clara June Marlatt.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to OMRF (Diabetes Division).
