Donna Geraldine "Gerry" Jantz , 83, Goltry

Funeral service will be July 9 at the Community Bible Church in Goltry at 10 a.m. with Dale Cummins and Carl Jantz officiating. Burial will follow in Free Home Cemetery northwest of Ringwood with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home of Helena.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Jantz of Goltry; two daughters, Bonnie Winchester of Douglas and Connie Walton of El Dorado, Kan.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Community Bible Church or Gideon's International through the funeral home.

GOLTRY-Funeral service for Leonard Orval Jantz, 88, will be Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at Community Bible Church in Goltry with Dale Cummins officiating. Burial will follow at Free Home Cemetery north and west of Ringwood with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Condolences may be sent to the family by going to www.lanmanfuneralhomes.com and clicking on the Ultimate Tributes icon. Casket will be open at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. and before the service at the church on Tuesday.

Leonard Orval Jantz was born on February 5, 1917 at Ringwood, the son of Otis C. Jantz and Lizzie Johnson and passed from this life April 8, 2005 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid. On February 19, 1939 Leonard married Donna Geraldine Routh. They lived in Cherokee, Jennings, Ringwood, Lahoma and Goltry. He farmed until he began working at Pillsbury Mills in Enid in 1946, working there for almost 20 years. In 1957 he raised mink until he retired in 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Winchester of Douglas and Connie Walton and husband, Bill of El Dorado, Kansas; two brothers, Carl of Nebraska and Phil of Helena; two sisters, Virginia Mercer of Enid and Leola Schmidt of Helena; three grandchildren, Twilla Walton of Houston, Texas, Keith Winchester of Douglas and Brenda Louthan of Towanda, Kansas and four great-grandchildren.

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna, three brothers, Teddy, Glen and Danver and three sisters, Edna, LaVera and Clara.

Memorials may be made to Gideon's International through the funeral home.
