FAIRVIEW — Funeral services for Alfred Koehn, 91, of Fairview, will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Fairview Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Chuck McKinney & Howard Cockrell with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery . Arrangements are made with the Nichols Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Fairview. The family will greet friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Alfred was born on June 7, 1919, in Isabella, Oklahoma to Simon and Tillie Kasper Koehn. He departed from this life on July 8, 2010, at his home in Fairview.

Alfred was united in marriage to Adeline Ratzlaff on March 8, 1941, in Fairview. He started work for the Santa Fe Railroad in Fairview retiring after 37.5 years. Member of the Fairview Church of the Nazarene.

He will be missed by his wife Adeline of the home, his sons Robert Alfred Koehn and his wife Judy of Fairview and John Michael Koehn and his wife Mary Lee of Fairview, his daughters Judy Vione Midyett and her husband Bob of Ravenwood, Missouri, and Sheryle Ann Watkins and her husband Larry of Fairview, Oklahoma, his brother Frank Koehn of Fairview his sisters Clara Warner of Isabella, Thelma McDonald of Decator, Arkansas, Ella Rena Hubble of Fairview, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Chester , Clarence and Victor, one grandson Tony and two grandsons-in-law, Terry Ritchie and Randy Masters.

Memorials may be made in Alfred's name to the Fairview Church of the Nazarene with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.

Funeral service for Adeline Mildred (Ratzlaff) Koehn, 91, of Fairview, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Fairview Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Chuck McKinney officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview.

A worshiper of the one true God, a lover of His Word and an obedient servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, Adeline went to her heavenly reward on Wednesday evening, Nov. 26, 2014, in Fairview. She was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Fairview, Okla., to John and Agnes (Bekkar) Ratzlaff. As a Proverbs 31 woman, Adeline worked hard all of her life doing different jobs. She retired from Fairview Hospital after working there for 191/2 years.

After retiring, Adeline and Alfred restored houses, and later had her own business “Adeline’s Place” for 11 years.

Adeline was a faithful and loving wife and a devoted mother, and grandmother, whom finished the race and kept the faith.

Henceforth, according to God’s Word in II Timothy 4:8, there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness which shall be given to her on that day.

Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred Koehn; sisters, Matilda “Tillie” Wichert and Elsie Kahn; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Adeline is survived by her family, two sons and two daughters, Robert Alfred Koehn and wife Judy, John Michael Koehn and wife Mary Lee and Judy Vione Midyett, all of Fairview, Okla., and Sheryle Ann Watkins and husband Larry of Garber, Okla.; one sister, Betty Manning of Oklahoma City; many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and many friends. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at the funeral home.
