Earl J. Nightingale was born on January 5th, 1931 to Joseph and Sarah (Schmidt) Nightingale and peacefully passed away on Monday, February 24th, 2020 in his home.

He Accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized into the Church of God in Christ Mennonite on March 15, 1950 by minister George Nichols.

Earl attended a one room school house named Independence by Homestead, Oklahoma. After school he continued helping his dad on the farm until he married the love of his life Dolores Koehn on May 15th, 1954.

They were married 65 years and made their home in Isabella, Oklahoma. Earl was trained by Rubin Nichols to become a successful carpenter for many years.

Earl and Dolores were blessed with four children, Joe, Eugene, Jack and Trudy. Family was very important to him. He dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He really enjoyed spending time with them.

Left with love and memories are his wife Dolores of the home, one son Joe Nightingale, one son-in-law Eugene Schmidt, eight grandchildren, Michael, Larry, Stacie, April, Renae, Kaycie, Grant, and Jeffery and seven great grandchildren, one brother, Vernon Nightingale, and three sisters, Mildred Penner, Louise Penner and Elda Nightingale.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Sarah Nightingale, his children Trudy, Eugene, and Jack, and his daughter-in-law, DawnAnna, also, his brother-in-law Gorden Penner and sisters-in-law, Sophie Nightingale, Vera Nightingale and Juanita Nightingale.
