Cedar Cemetery


RINGWOOD — Funeral service for Michelle Nichols, 46, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at New Hopedale Mennonite Church, Meno, with Pastor James Suderman and Pastor Brian Frable officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Cemetery , southeast of Fairview. Arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and before the service on Saturday. Memories may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com.

Michelle was born Jan. 15, 1965, in Stillwater to Ray Riley and Donna Ritter Riley and passed from this life on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, south of Ringwood. She was raised in Stillwater and attended Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. On Feb. 16, 1985, Michelle married Kyndell Nichols and they have two sons, Levon and Lathan. She spent all of her married life in the Ringwood, Okla., area and was an active civic volunteer in the community. Michelle was on the board of the Oklahoma Hereford Women's Association, was a Ringwood 4-H advisor and a member of both the 4-H and FFA Booster clubs for years. She had won several awards for her photography. Michelle was baptized early in life into the University Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater.

Those left to cherish Michelle's memory include her husband, Kyndell of Ringwood; sons, Levon and Lathan of Ringwood; her parents, Ray and Donna Riley of Stillwater; mother-in-law, Oma Gay Nichols of Isabella ; brother, Jeffrey Riley and wife Karol of Stillwater; sister, Stacy Lynnette Riley and husband David Kleim of Parker, Colo.; brother-in-law, Kyle Nichols and wife Suzie of Ringwood; brother-in-law, Kent Nichols and wife LeTamra of Shattuck; nieces and nephews, Dalton Nichols of Ringwood, Jaden Riley of Stillwater, and Laura, Adam and Ryan Kleim of Parker, Colo.; as well as a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

Those who preceded Michelle in death include her grandparents, James and Marjorie Prophet Riley; grandparents, Elmer and Mona Lewis Ritter; father-in-law, John Nichols; and brother-in-law, Kevin Nichols.

Memorials may be given to Hereford Women of Oklahoma Scholarship Fund through the funeral home.
